House Members Call for End to DADT Discharges

In a letter to President Obama today, 77 Members of the House of Representatives called on him to suspend investigation and discharge of gay, lesbian and bisexual servicemembers. Organized by Rep. Alcee Hastings, the letter urges this action in conjunction with a legislative strategy for repeal in order to improve our national security. The letter points out many of the brave men and women lost to the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy including First Lieutenant Dan Choi and Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Victor Fehrenbach.
