Honor Women’s History Month By Supporting Their Future

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, HRC looks to our female endorsees as inspiration for the future. Senator Kay Hagan has fought for the rights of LGBT Americans since her election to the Senate in 2008.
As North Carolina Senator, Hagan has a strong LGBT record, including voting to include gender identity as a protected class for hate crimes in the military, repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and passing the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.
As HRC looks back to celebrate how far we’ve come, we also look forward to our female endorsees, like Sen. Hagan, who believe in and fight for equality of LGBT Americans. They are facing tough elections in November, and we look forward to continuing to support them.
