Happy Halloween from Roanoke and the Gwen Mason for Delegate Campaign

I spent the day canvassing with an HRC member who drove all the way down from Buena Vista to help with Gwen’s race. The turf wasn’t ideal for walking, but we still managed to hit over a hundred doors, identify a lot of supporters, convince a few folks to support Gwen who hadn’t heard of the race, and also offer a ride to the polls to a very sweet 90 year old lady. It started raining so our team has been on the phones all afternoon. Our seven other organizers statewide have been up since before the sun rose, prepping material and organizing massive get out the vote efforts. HRC staff are preparing to hit the streets tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday in Northern Virginia to help our three Northern Virginia candidates – John Bell, Luke Torian, and Delegate Margi Vanderhye.
