Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day! At HRC, we’re always making an effort to “go green” and to help protect the environment any way we can. Our building has a green roof, we recycle and have a “green team” that makes sure we print double-sided. Did you know that your donations can also be “green”? The greenest and most cost effective way to give to the Human Rights Campaign is to join our Partners Program by making a monthly gift.
As an added bonus of becoming a Partner, you’ll receive an eco-friendly reusable tote bag. This bag is made of 85 percent post-consumer recycled bottles and is itself 100 percent recyclable. Use the bag on trips to the farmers market or to bring your lunch to work.
By joining Partners, you’ll be able to carry your eco-friendly bag around with pride, and you’ll also help us save precious resources, including paper and postage because we won’t need to send you renewal reminders. Just the envelopes we won’t send to our Partners will save one entire tree per year; and one tree offsets the carbon dioxide emissions of about 100 gallons of gasoline.
This Earth Day, think about new ways to “go green” in your everyday life, including the way you give. Visit www.hrc.org/partners to learn more about the greenest program at HRC.
