Gomer Pyle Actor Weds Partner

Actor Jim Nabors, who starred on the popular comedy "Gomer Pyle, USMC," in the 1960s, married his partner of nearly 40 years in Washington State recently. The couple live in Hawaii.
The actor said he felt very blessed, and added:
It's pretty obvious that we had no rights as a couple, yet when you've been together 38 years, I think something's got to happen there, you've got to solidify something. And at my age, it's probably the best thing to do.
