Get Involved: Drive for Marriage Equality
October 26, 2012 by Dan Rafter, Online Campaigns Manager
Earlier this fall, HRC joined with Freedom to Marry and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Action Fund in launching United for Marriage, a national effort to recruit volunteers for the four state marriage campaigns in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington.
With just a little over a week to go until Election Day, we’re now focusing on a critical aspect of the program – the Drive for Marriage initiative. If you have a car, live within a reasonable distance to one of those four states, and are eager to make a substantive difference in this election – Drive for Marriage is for you. Head on over to the United for Marriage site and sign up now. You can pick dates that work best for your schedule. Two to three days before you scheduled drive, you’ll receive an email with additional emails.
This election is too critical to sit out – sign up now and help ensure equality wins at the polls on November 6.
