Josh Levin is the campaign manager for Marylanders for Marriage Equality, the campaign working to defend marriage equality at the ballot box in November.
We’re seeing some impressive numbers here in Maryland!
There is the poll showing that 54 percent of Maryland voters would uphold the state's marriage equality law in November. We have more than 15,000 likes on Facebook. More than 1,500 people are following us on Twitter. Our coalition has more than 100 partners – faith leaders, local businesses, elected officials and more.
We are calling on each and every one of these supporters to join us for our upcoming Day of Action on August 25.
A week from Saturday, coalition members and volunteers across the state will be knocking on doors and talking with Marylanders about the importance of voting for marriage equality in November.
We have a lot of ground to cover, and we need as many people as possible to help us.
Let your friends and family know – and please join us for our Day of Action!
HRC has set up a special fund to direct 100 percent of your contribution today to defend the marriage equality law in Maryland. HRC is a founding member and leader of Marylanders for Marriage Equality, the coalition campaign working to defend marriage in the Free State, and your contribution will support the coalition's efforts and counttoward your HRC membership.
