FRC’s Tony Perkins – Marriage Equality Could Lead to “A Revolution”
November 9, 2012 by Dan Rafter, Online Campaigns Manager
Tony Perkins remains undeterred by this week’s historic voter-driven victories for marriage equality in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington State. He also apparently remains blissfully undeterred by the fact that support for marriage equality has crossed the 50 percent threshold across virtually every demographic.
No, according to Tony Perkins, the American people simply will not stand for the Supreme Court taking up marriage equality. According to Perkins, the public would become so irate that it would lead to a “revolution,” that he says will “explode and just break this nation apart.”
