Fox Poll: Obama Leads Romney on Marriage Equality by 20 Points
August 10, 2012 by HRC staff
The following post comes from HRC Communications Intern Matt Arnstine:
Fox News yesterday released a new poll on the presidential race, asking respondents to name which candidate they trusted more on issues like healthcare, the economy and national security.
On most issues, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were within a few points of each other. However, on handling marriage equality, President Obama led 52 percent to 32 percent. This 20-point gap between the two candidates was the largest of any single issue the pollster inquired about.

Polling shows that the growing majority of Americans support marriage equality, including nearly 50 percent of Republicans under the age of 35. Find more marriage equality news, maps and polling at HRC’s Marriage Center.
