Find Pride in Your Google Search
June 25, 2012 by Carolyn Simon
If you turned to Google for your pride-related searches this month, you got a colorful surprise along with your search results. A rainbow ribbon appears below the search bar when you type in popular terms such as LGBT, gay pride, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, marriage equality and more.
Google has a long history of celebrating LGBT equality. Most recently, it marked Valentine’s Day by including a gay couple in its Doodle, and joined Starbucks and other companies in endorsing marriage equality in Washington state.
Happy searching!
H/T Mashable.
