Filipina Recording Star Charice Tells World: ‘I am a Lesbian’

Charice Pempengco – the Filipina singer best known in the U.S. for her role as Sunshine Corazon on Glee – has come out as a lesbian.
The international recording star came out during a recent interview with ABS-CBN’s The Buzz.
She later released the video below, expressing love and gratitude to the fans who have supported her.
Tony-winning actress and singer Lea Salonga – a fellow Filipina – Tweeted a strong message of support to Charice.
