EQUALITY Calling in New Jersey

Last night, HRC volunteer Donald MacLeod opened his home to 5 HRC volunteers to dial for equality. Gary Hilbert, Sam Joseph, Roger Rosen, Keith Jones, and I met in South Orange NJ for another HRC phone bank for Governor Corzine. We called over 261 HRC members to let them know that HRC had endorsed Governor Corzine in the upcoming election on Tuesday, Nov 3rd. People ask me everyday what they can do to help in this race, and the answer is simple: Volunteer! HRC needs your help to push Governor Corzine to victory on November 3. Roger told me that one woman thanked him for calling because she was not sure who she would vote for, but hearing about HRC's endorsement sealed the deal for her. Sometimes calling people feels like it doesn't do anything, but trust me we will win this election one vote at a time. We will win marriage equality for the state of New Jersey one vote at a time for Governor Corzine. We are hosting another phone bank next week, and I will be working this weekend to gather support in Atlantic City at the first ever "Out in AC".
