Equality Brewing in Seattle
August 22, 2011 by Marty Rouse, National Field Director
A few mornings ago I joined HRC Seattle and Equal Rights Washington leaders over coffee at SeaTac airport to discuss the political lay of the land in the Evergreen State.
It was great to sit down with longtime and new friends to have a thoughtful discussion about efforts to win equal rights.
Seattle is fortunate to have both good, strong coffee and good, strong leaders.
I headed back to the East Coast fully-charged, not only by the coffee, but also by the energy and spirit of our movement’s local leaders.
