Election Mobilization Tour Continues in Minnesota

Today HRC President Chad Griffin continued his six-state tour with a visit to Minnesotans United for All Families' three-story Action Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

HRC is proud to support Minnesotans United for All Families' tireless fight to defeat the amendment banning same-sex marriage in the state. While at the center, Griffin met with HRC field organizer Trevor Chandler, who has worked in Minnesota for over seven months.

His stop in Minnesota is part of HRC’s six-state Get Out the Vote tour, HRC’s largest-ever election mobilization effort to ensure 2012 is a year of milestone victories for marriage equality.

To date, HRC has invested over $1 million as well as staff resources in Minnesota, but we can't stop there. Griffin announced last night HRC will invest an additional $25,000 to protect marriage equality in Minnesota.

HRC has set up a special fund – HRC Minnesota Family Freedom PAC – to direct 100 percent of your contribution to defeat the anti-marriage constitutional amendment in Minnesota.
