Edie Windsor Announces Support for Christine Quinn for NYC Mayor

Following her monumental victory at the Supreme Court yesterday, Edie Windsor is shifting her attentions beyond the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act to focus on local politics: helping to elect Christine Quinn for NYC Major.
"I'm enthusiastically supporting Chris not just because of her powerful leadership on issues important to the LGBT community—from marriage equality to hate crimes to support for people with HIV/AIDS—but because she has, by far, the strongest record of results for all New Yorkers,” Windsor said in the video.
