DC Council to vote Tuesday on recognizing same-sex marriages from outside jurisdictions

The DC Council is set to vote tomorrow on the 2nd reading (final passage) of Bill 18-10, which includes a provision recognizing marriages by same-sex couples legally entered into outside D.C. The Council will go into session at 10 am and is likely to vote by noon. The bill will then be transmitted to Mayor Fenty.
