Church Stands Up to Discrimination in North Carolina

With all of the recent stories portraying religious communities in a negative light - from Charles Worley's jarring comments in North Carolina to the disturbing video that emerged from Indiana yesterday - it's important to remember that these incidents are by no means represeantative of the majority of people of faith. Check out the great billboard below that has gone up in California, via BuzzFeed:
The billboard, courtesy of Missiongathering Christian Church, reads: "Missiongathering Christian Church is sorry for the narrow-minded, judgmental, deceptive, manipulative actions of those who denied rights & equality to so many in the name of God."
