Canadian House of Commons Passes Transgender Rights Bill

Yesterday the Canadian House of Commons approved a bill that if passed would outlaw transgender discrimination.
The bill passed 149 to 139 with support from 16 Conservatives. The legislation will now move to the Senate, which is an unelected body.
