ACT TODAY:  Civil Unions on the Move in Colorado

Now is our best chance to make Civil Unions in Colorado a reality.  Last week, the Colorado Senate passed the Civil Unions Bill (SB 172) with bi-partisan support 23–12.  Three Republicans joined all 20 Democrats voting for the bill.  Now, the bill is scheduled to be heard in the House Judiciary Committee this Thursday.  Please send a message to your Representative today asking them to support this bill!

The bill will face a difficult battle in the House Judiciary Committee. We need your help NOW if we want civil unions to become a reality in Colorado.  Join us at the committee hearing, and wear red to show that you support the bill.

House Judiciary Committee hearing on Civil Unions

Thursday, March 31st | 1:30p.m. | Colorado State Capitol | 200 East Colfax Ave. | Denver, CO

RSVP by clicking here.

The opposition will show up in full force, and they’ll be prepared to talk about why they believe that committed same-sex couples don’t deserve the same respect and protections as opposite-sex couples.  We need you to come and help us “pack the room” so that, no matter what lies the opposition tells, we can show that there’s widespread support for this bill.

Even if you can’t make it, you can still make your voice heard by clicking here and sending a message to your Representative!
