A Beautiful Day Ahead For a Better Minnesota!
November 2, 2010 by Carolyn Simon, Associate Director of Digital Media
The forecast couldn’t be better for the weather or the outcome of Minnesota’s hotly contested Gubernatorial race. On the meteorological side of things (weather is *THE* topic of choice for small talk among Minnesotans) we’re expecting sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to upper 50’s for a majority of the day. Perfect conditions for thousands of Get Out the Vote volunteers around the state to turn out voters for pro-equality candidates. And as for the forecast in that race for Governor? Mark Dayton has maintained a 3-12 point lead for nearly a month – a consistent sign that if the volunteers do their part today, we could see the first pro-equality, Democratic Governor in the state in 20 years. Stay with HRC Back Story throughout the evening and we’ll update you with the happenings in the North Star State. You will also be able to keep up with elections from around the country. Until then, we wish you a happy Election Day from our team here in Minnesota.
