Time is running out to register for HRC’s Tele-Townhall for Utah, which will be held on February 3.
In December, federal judge Robert Shelby ruled that Utah Constitutional Amendment 3, a law that limits marriage to heterosexual couples, is in violation of the constitution. HRC will be hosting a Tele-Townhall to examine the keypoints of the ruling, and to help same-sex couples of Utah understand what the decision means for them.
HRC Legal Director Brian Moulton will highlight the implications of this ruling, and Marty Rouse, HRC National Field Director will be present to discuss HRC’s outreach in Utah. Chair of Equality Utah Cliff Rosky will also be on the call to examine how the state is handling marriage.
Make sure to register for the Tele-Townhall before it’s too late.
When: Monday, February 3 at 6:45 p.m. MST
