Last Saturday, Texas Governor Rick Perry blatantly blurred the separation of Church and state and led “The Response,” a Christian-only day of prayer backed by some of the most virulent anti-gay leaders and organizations in the country. Perry actually thanked these very same leaders directly while at The Response. Check out video of the interaction and sign our petition telling Rick Perry that his associations with and support of anti-gay groups is unacceptable and unbecoming of a politician – particularly one with rumored national ambitions.

Texas Governor Rick Perry – who some speculated was distancing himself from the anti-gay sponsors of his prayer rally in Houston this past weekend – actually ran in the opposite direction and thanked the groups and individuals from the stage during closing remarks at the event.
