The Washington State Secretary of State reported last night that checkers in the signature verification process for Referendum 71 have surpassed 100,000 signatures checked.

The latest daily update from the counting in Washington State is in... 88,191 signatures have been checked and of them 77,637 have been accepted and 10,554 have been rejected. That brings the rejection rate up to 11.97 percent (it was 11.67 percent yesterday and 11.32 percent the day before).
