Anti-Marriage Activists Claim Signature Goal in Maine

Yesterday, the fight to protect the freedom to marry in Maine intensified. Stand for Marriage Maine, a group seeking to repeal the marriage equality law which was passed by the legislature and signed by the governor in May, announced that they had collected the necessary 55,087 signatures needed to get a referendum on the ballot in November.
