D.C. Region Volunteers Keep Equality Spreading

Volunteers have traveled from as far as Baltimore to give three hours of time to reach out to HRC members in districts that they cannot vote in that are situated in counties they’ve never heard of.

Last week, HRC members gathered at the LGBT Center in Manhattan to phonebank and urge voters in New York's 11th state Senate District to vote for HRC endorsed pro-equality candidate Tony Avella.

The Skidmore College Pride Alliance and the Christian Fellowship co-hosted the event to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students on campus.
