An Exciting Week of Fighting in Minnesota

Election day is here. I have been working with Tarryl Clark's campaign for over a week now, and it has been quite an exciting time. She is running an aggressive campaign against Michelle Bachmann who has been a staunch opponent of LGBT equality in Minnesota and nationwide. I have been making calls to members around the state who are very engaged in the upcoming election. People in the 6th Congressional District are tired of Bachmann and want someone like Clark who will represent the needs of all of the constituents of the district.

Last night, Mike Kaplowitz came in to a jam-packed energy-filled HQ in Carmel, NY. Upon seeing me, and in front of the crowded office, he grabbed my hand and said “Thank you so much for all your support. I remember our first meeting months ago, and I’m honored that you drove up here today. Will you be my guest on the Senate floor if I’m fortunate enough to be able to be in the Senate to cast a Yes vote on the marriage bill?”
