After nearly two weeks on the ground, the field organizers with the Americans for Workplace Opportunity campaign invite you to get involved locally in the campaign field efforts.

Field Organizers on the Americans for Workplace Opportunity campaign wasted no time getting started on the work to secure Senator Rob Portman’s YES vote on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).

As is to be expected, Ohio is an important state in the strategy to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act on the floor of the United States Senate this fall.

Last weekend, members of the HRC Las Vegas steering committee and I joined several volunteers in Reno, the second largest city in Nevada, to talk to voters about the need of employment protections for all Americans.

U.S. Senator Mark Pryor from Arkansas has not yet committed to supporting ENDA, and we hope to show him that Arkansans believe everyone should have the opportunity to get and keep a job and provide for themselves and their families.
