Good afternoon, Over the past few weeks, I’ve spoken to you about the upcoming fight to pass a federal hate crimes bill. Now, that moment is here. Next week, the U.S. Congress comes back into session after a two-week recess. We expect the House to begin consideration of the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act (LLEHCPA), also known as the Matthew Shepard Act, right away.
