Trevor Chandler

A native of Laconia, New Hampshire, Trevor joined the Human Rights Campaign in January 2011 as a Field Organizer to help defend marriage equality in his home state. Now as a Senior Regional Field Organizer, he works with supporters, allies and partner organizations to empower, organize and inform to further LGBT rights and acceptance. He has worked on equality campaigns in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, Maryland and most recently served as Political Director for the Minnesotans United for All Families campaign.

After graduating from Plymouth State University in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, Trevor went to work for pro-equality U.S. Representative Paul W. Hodes in his New Hampshire District Office as a Community Outreach Representative assisting constituents with federal issues as well as representing the Congressman at meetings and events. He then transitioned to become the Congressman’s Compliance Director for his U.S. Senate campaign.

Trevor is currently working on the Oregon United for Marriage campaign to help pass a constitutional amendment making marriage equality a reality there in 2014.
