AIDS 2012: Turning the Tide Together
The International AIDS Conference returns to the United States for the first time in over 20 years. The passage of the HIV travel ban in 1993 stood in the way of the U.S. hosting the conference. Thanks to the hard work of HRC and our allies on the Hill, Congress lifted the ban in 2008 and as of January 2010 allowed HIV+ people to enter the country again.
The conference is back and HRC is proud to participate in this momentous and historic event. Please join us in Washington, D.C., July 22-27.
Join HRC at various D.C. events related to the 2012 International AIDS Conference.
The 48,000 hand-sewn panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt return to D.C. this summer.
