Ché Juan Gonzales Tabisola

As Program Manager of the Center for the Study of Equality, Ché Juan Gonzales Tabisola is transforming HRC’s research center into a national authority and resource for sexual and gender prejudice studies.
Che believes that knowledge holds the potential to transform not only minds, but lives and communities as well. A dedicated advocate for education, in 2003 he founded the AGT Lifelong Learner Award at his family’s alma mater for older undergraduate students who work fulltime and support families while attending college.
Che joined HRC in 2006. A proud first-generation American, he was born to English and Filipino parents in Southern California, where he was a government and crime reporter.
Che holds a Master’s Degree in International Conflict Analysis from the University of Kent Brussels School of International Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles. He lives in Washington, DC with his partner and their dog.
