Georgie Aguirre-Sacasa
Regional Field Director
Georgie Aguirre-Sacasa was political director and regional field director for the Arizona Democratic Coordinated Campaign in 2004. While working in Arizona's most populated county, Maricopa, she helped develop and manage the implementation of early vote and vote-by-mail programs, as well as managing the statewide political outreach on behalf of the Kerry/Edwards campaign.
Before heading to Arizona, Aguirre-Sacasa served as deputy political director for Sen. John Edwards' political action committee. She also served as the director of national Hispanic/Latino outreach for the Edwards for President campaign, where she organized grassroots Hispanic/Latino activity in Arizona, California, New Mexico, New York, Texas and Virginia.
